weekend creative

did you watch the oscars last night? what did you think? i loved seeing all the gowns, alec and steve were quite funny and i was really thrilled for kathryn bigelow!

my weekend sped by pretty fast. but i did squeeze in a great hike in griffith park with my friend cait!i have to share a funny story with you from our oscar viewing party. when barbra streisand came on stage to present best director, my friend remarked that you don't see her very often these days. i commented that i see her every day - in the form of an ashtray with her likeness gifted to me a few years ago. i use it as a doorstop. here it is, ladies! proof of my lovely babs memento!{images by me}

i spent a couple of days with girfriends up in santa barbara county over the weekend. we take an annual trip to the little dutch town of solvang to taste great wines and have a fun girls trip together!

i have to tell you one of the best parts of mine was spotting the photo of my grandmother from my blog it forward post on sfgirlbybay! i'm so incredibly honored to be among some of victoria's favorite bits!

what are your plans for the weekend? anything fun?

on deck for my weekend: getting together for movie night with friends, brunch involving crêpes, editing some photos, and on sunday i'm heading to the darling town of solvang for an annual trip with girlfriends. i'm so looking forward to it! i'll share highlights with you on monday! {image by me}
