weekend creative

happy moday, dearies!  did you all have a nice weekend?  mine was delightful, although i'm suffering from major brain fog today! 

on saturday i zipped downtown to pick up supplies from my favorite stores in the fabric and jewelry districts.  i went early to beat the crowds, and was greeted with the most wonderful overcast day.  i took advantage of the deserted streets and snapped a few pics of some gorgeous buildings!

i discovered a new-to-me trimmings shop and hit the lace jackpot!  terrific inspiration for the birdcage veil i'm working on!
